Nicola Axe

When I began stone carving in 2009, I discovered my passion. Stone is an incredibly tactile and exciting medium which drives me to discover its possibilities. Originally inspired by sculptors Rodin, Modigliani and Brancusi to name a few, my interests in yoga, meditation and spirituality impress upon the visions and meanings in my work. My sculpture is exhibited at various venues, including the Devon Open Studio event. Works are often made to commission, for more information please go to my website.
