My practice focuses on emergence, regeneration and natural progression, drawing influences from nature. Whenever one thing ceases, something else emerges and adapts to fill the space. My work experiments with forms falling and rising: pieces from the burnt-out Royal Clarence Hotel; microscopic creatures; the human form. I am intrigued by ‘vulnerability’, how this is masked with statements of certainty and how we express this in the masculine and the feminine.
