Since giving up teaching in 2016 I have launched myself firmly into painting and am loving life! I try to paint loosely, freely, to music, letting the image come intuitively rather than being planned. I love colour and the feel of putting paint to canvas with my fingertips. I enjoy creating images to uplift the viewer and put a smile on faces. There's enough trouble in life: my paintings are about joy and aim to bring it.
