Debbie’s paintings are a personal response to capturing a moment in time and a sense of place, often of scenes that are quite ordinary but which shout to her ‘paint me!’. The artist’s mood is reflected in her work, usually optimistic, upbeat and vibrant. Rhythm, harmony of colour, light, and economy of brushstroke are important elements to her work. An Associate Academician of the South West Academy, Debbie’s work is exhibited in the South West and most recently at The Mall Galleries, London.
