Andrew Spilsbury
Andrew followed a career as a Horticulturist and Nurseryman. He now spends his time as a freelance Gardener and on one of his other passions – working with wood. Over the years he has made furniture for the home. Influences are from craftsmen such as James Krenov and John Makepeace, utilising solid wood and simple but elegant and practical design. Having made furniture in the Shaker style he decided to make some Shaker boxes. He now makes these in Cherry and Maple woods to traditional designs.
