I came across a photo - it was an image of some sunset clouds on long exposure and the colours were just beautiful! It inspired this painting. The house is based on A La Ronde, a quirky country house in Exmouth, owned by the National Trust. It was a bit of a challenge to imagine what a similar house would look like in the sunset, but I am happy with the outcome and that colour explosion.
This painting was partially inspired by a photo of the night sky I took a few years ago. My other source of inspiration were those enchanted looking lone trees you come across when walking on the moors, with their strange, bare branches reaching out towards the sky and everything around them. Imagine them coming alive at night...
Watercolour painting inspired by a resilient little tree I've come across, growing on top of a pile of rocks on Dartmoor.
Visual artist specialising in photography and expressive painting. Nature is my main source of inspiration, but I am keen to explore a variety of subjects. Curiosity and a strong drive to experiment & try out new ideas/ techniques is at the centre of my art. https://agnesbosze.wixsite.com/visualart
