devon open studios 2008 Plans for this year’s Open Studios event are well underway and over 300 artists have signed up to take part. A series of nine Art Trails, each with its own map will run across the county between September 6 – 21 with trails in North Devon, Torridge, West Devon and South Hams running from September 6 – 14 and those in Mid Devon, Exeter, East Devon, Torbay and Teignbridge running from September 13- 21. In addition to the artists, the trails will also feature local food outlets and producers enabling visitors to plan their routes and enjoy high quality local food as part of their Open Studios day out. The trail maps will be available from mid July in Tourist Information Centres, libraries, galleries, arts venues, shops, cafes, pubs and accommodation providers. However, if you would like us to send you a map, please email us at admin@devonartistnetwork.co.uk giving your name and address and including the dates you will be in Devon, so we can send you the appropriate map/s.
