Christopher Foweraker

While interested in all aspects of woodturning, my current focus is in combining uncomplicated balanced form, with natural edges, knots, holes and bark inclusions, as well as the effects of fungal and insect activity. I find that the most difficult and awkward looking pieces of wood often produce the most striking results. My work essentially celebrates the imperfections of wood as features of a beautiful natural material, rather than as defects.
