Tryangles 2

Acrylic on canvas; 30" x 24". Yes, Escher is definitely an influence here! There is something sensual about playing with colours and shapes like this....

I have painted in oils since I was 13, I have played with colour and shape on canvas ever since, in many styles and in many media. My main focus currently is landscape, but I also do serial abstracts. All these formats are immensely enjoyable, and are still developing and changing. My figurative work is a tribute natural beauty wherever I find myself, inspired by artists such as Peploe, Bevan and Cezanne. In my abstracts you'll find influences by artists such as Riley and Escher.
