My love of stitching started in my teens with freestyle embroidery progressing onto cross stitch, patchwork and many other needlecrafts including Honiton Lace.

 
Some years later I started experimenting with textiles, nature being the main influence of my work.

Textiles excite me and I am forever collecting different fabrics and threads for my stitching library.

Often when looking at different aspects of nature I can see different textures, colours and stitches.
