Martin Sharpe is a photographer and digital artist. Since studying with the Bureau of Freelance Photographers he has developed a particular focus on abstract and conceptual art. Martin's design-led approach to image-making emphasises simple elements of line, shape, pattern and colour. Obvious influencers are Bridget Riley and Mark Rothko but his composite works, in particular, are just as likely to represent visual interpretations of event-straplines, song-titles or common phrases.
