I began my career as an Art Teacher, working locally for fifteen years. I then opened my first studio at The Wheel Craft Centre, Chudleigh. It was during this period that I started to specialise in Painting on Silk. After moving to Fermoy's Garden Centre (1994 -2004) I was able to expand my business and start producing much larger items from lampshades to bedspreads, cushions and pictures. I have been very inspired by the fauna and flora in the tropics so parrots and brightly coloured fish stand side by side with the images of the Devonshire countryside. These days I run workshops and divide my time between painting and photography.
