I am an artist and writer currently living in Devon although I have also lived in Cornwall and Spain. I have painted and drawn since childhood and studied textile design at West Sussex College of Art. Gouache is my favourite medium for my 'semi-abstract landscapes', but I also use mapping pens to produce detailed and stylised pen and ink drawings. Watercolour is used for quick sketching out of doors; sometimes I rework these pictures in the studio.
