Colour, light and atmosphere are vital ingredients towards fulfilling the passion of self expression in my work. Self taught, I have spent a lifetime discovering the delights of the various mediums. Harnessing the discipline and flow of watercolour, enabled me to move into other mediums more comfortably. Initially an equine artist, my advancing years have allowed me to feel confident in most subject matter. Setting a new challenge provides the inspiration.  Last year I spent a bleak winter in my garage creating an 8ft Acrylic.  This winter I will be working on six portraits and next year....who knows!
