Devon Artist Network (DAN) is a membership organisation set up to promote the visual arts and create opportunities for artists and makers in Devon.
DAN was established in 2004 and is a non-profit making organisation initiating a range of projects across the county including the well established Devon Open Studios (DOS) event that runs annually in September.

Having lived close to the Devon/ Dorset coast for most of my life, landscapes and seascapes have become a subject matter to which I am frequently drawn, but it is mostly the sense of impermanence that I am looking to capture- in the skies, the way that clouds will build, and pass. I also work on still-lives, bringing the scale down, for more intimate, quiet contemplative way of working. I love taking the time to really study an object, to move beyond the first glance that recognises it, and really look. I want to move beyond a familiarity of everyday objects, to experience again something of the wonder of discovery that we all have had at some point when we first saw an object. I exhibit regularly in the UK, and my work can be found in public and private collections here in the UK, and in private collections in USA, Canada, France, Portugal, Japan, Ireland and Italy.
